TAX MANAGER

We seek a Tax Manager who can work independently, multi-task efficiently and effectively, and work with minimal supervision. Ability to work with PDF and Microsoft products including Excel, Word, etc. knowledge of CCH ProSystem fx Engagement Software and QuickBooks accounting software, attention to detail, strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, and flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and review corporate, partnership, estate, gift, fiduciary, and individual income tax returns.
- Review and respond to IRS and State tax notices.
- Analyze complex tax issues, perform and document research and conclusions.
- Delegate, supervise, and review work performed by other team members.
- Ensure complete client and team satisfaction through open communication, managing deadlines and proactively sharing tax savings strategies.
- Demonstrate a level of communication skills, intuitive skills and resourcefulness that encourages others to follow and develop the same skills.
- Oversee, supervisors, senior associates and staff on large engagements.
- Work closely with Partners, senior managers, and staff on professional development and business development activities.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years public accounting experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of tax and accounting software
- CPA designation is required
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and clients
- Ability to oversee multiple engagements concurrently
